Lou Solomon, CEO of Interact Studio, is an author and TEDx speaker. A former Television and Radio executive, she believed authenticity was missing from how business communication skills were taught.
In 2000, Solomon founded Interact Studio, an award-winning communications company that focuses on authenticity, trust, and influence in communications.
Holding a master’s degree in organizational development, Solomon is a former adjunct faculty member at the McColl School of Business at Queens University. She co-founded the TWIST Conference for Women, now hosted by the University and celebrating its 11th year.
As an author and TEDx speaker, Solomon’s insights have culminated in two books, "Say Something Real," and “Fighting the Impostor Mindset.” Her TEDx Talk is approaching 1 million views.
A contributing writer for the Harvard Business Review, CEO.com, Fast Company, and SUCCESS Magazine, Solomon’s articles on Trust have appeared worldwide.
Lou has served on several non-profit Boards, including Leadership Charlotte, Charlotte is Creative, and Women Executives. She has done extensive pro bono work for non-profits, including Roof Above, SHARE Charlotte, the Humane Society, and the Reemprise Fund.
